אֶגְדִּיקוֹס(אֶגְדִּיקָס, popular corrupt. אנד׳, cmp. אַנְדִּיסְקֵי) m. (ecdicus = cognitor sive defensor civitatis, esp. in Asia Minor) states agent, syndic. Gen. R. s. 12 א׳ ממונה על ביא שלה (ed. אנד׳; בית שלו, corr. acc.) when an ecdicus is in the country, he holds the authority over the public road (curator viæ, v. בִּיָּא). Yalk. Ps. 794 (a.
